Mindfulness Triathlon (Notice Festival) comes to Nisswa, MN, Expected May 2027. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The organiser describes the day as dedicated to noticing, moving, breathing, listening and being mindful, and sums it up as one day, one community, one unforgettable experience. The name of the parent business came from a word the founder found herself using in both her yoga teaching and her therapy practice: notice what your hands want to do here, notice your feet on the mat, take a moment to notice what comes up. On expanding the event she says: We're just wanting to offer more to everybody. More music, more community time, more opportunity for joy and feeling mindful. Just more. On the 5K she says it is about the journey, about noticing the trees and laughing with people you have just met. The event is run as eco-conscious, and ongoing scholarships exist so that finances are not a barrier

The experience

What's special

A one day outdoor wellness festival in a small Minnesota lake town, built around three things done in sequence: an untimed 5K walk or run on the Paul Bunyan Trail, yoga, and a sound journey. That structure is where the original name came from. The 2026 edition, the first full-day one, opened with breathwork and intention at 9:15am and a dynamic stretch to prepare for the 10am 5K, then moved into a headphone yoga flow that turns into a silent disco dance party with DJ Taz Rashid, a Kai Chi Do session in the afternoon and a Soul Groove sound journey meditation, closing with a collective breathwork circle at 4pm. The Mindful Marketplace of more than twenty food, drink and artisan vendors runs alongside and, from 2026, is free to walk into

The practice

Who it's for

self-paced, all levels. The organiser stresses that the 5K is not a traditional timed race: in the founder's words, 'Walk, dance it, skip it, do a little, do a lot. It's about the journey.' A dynamic stretch and yoga session runs immediately before the 5K to prepare participants. The rest of the day is a headphone yoga flow, a Kai Chi Do session and a seated sound journey, with two long breaks. The founder also says the event is meant to be for all ages

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability access

The organiser publishes no accessibility statement. The festival page carries a short FAQ covering what to bring, weather, water, parking and bathrooms, and none of it is access-specific: there is no mention of accessibility, ADA, wheelchair use, accessible parking, companion or carer tickets, chair or adaptive practice, quiet spaces or interpretation.

Read the full notes

What the organiser does publish is useful for planning and should be read as logistics rather than as access provision. On parking, Notice Wellness states that the event is held in downtown Nisswa and parking is free everywhere, adding that there is limited space in front of the park where the event is held, so a disabled attendee cannot count on parking close to the site and no reserved accessible bay is mentioned.

On toilets, the organiser states that there will be portable restrooms on site, as well as park restrooms, and restrooms one block away at the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce; whether any of those are accessible is not stated, and portable units generally are not unless specified.

The format matters for access: this is an all-day outdoor event in a city park that opens with a 5K run or walk along the Paul Bunyan Trail and then moves through yoga sessions, a sound journey and a silent disco, so attendees move between stations across the park and along the trail.

No distances between stations, no surface descriptions for the practice areas, and no step free routing are published

Shade & heatAn open city park in downtown Nisswa. The organiser advises wearing layers and planning for all types of weather

Checked the festival page and its full FAQ, the event details page, and the whole noticewellness.com pages sitemap; there is no accessibility, info or plan-your-visit page anywhere on the site. That blocks the City of Nisswa Parks and Recreation pages and the Nisswa City Park Project page, which search snippets suggest do carry accessibility language about the playground and about accessible surface materials and sidewalks planned for a 2027 upgrade. None of that was verifiable from a primary page and none of it has been recorded. A human on a normal browser should retry those three URLs. To ask: Notice Wellness publishes [email protected] and 218-656-0305

Confirm your specific needs with the organiser's access team before you travel.

Add-ons

INCOMPLETE for the next edition: no 2027 price exists and the event page reads Tickets are not on sale. Local press reported full-day, half-day and VIP tiers for 2026, but no capture of the page ever showed more than the single $89 tier, so those prices are unknown. Do not quote the $130, $109 or $70 figures that appear on the same page: those are Notice Wellness monthly studio membership plans, not festival tickets

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Recovery and comfort. A full day that starts with an untimed 5K walk or run on the Paul Bunyan Trail and then asks the body to keep going: a headphone yoga flow and dance party, a Kai Chi Do session and a sound journey meditation, with breaks built in at 12:30 and 2:30 and a closing breathwork circle. The 9:30am dynamic stretch and yoga session exists specifically to prepare people for the 5K, and it is led by an E-RYT 500 with an athlete-informed background in mobility and somatic awareness. Because the 5K is untimed and self-paced, the day can be taken gently. The organiser says to bring a yoga mat, water, clothes to move in and shoes to walk or run in, and to plan for all types of weather

Teachers & presenters

Roster from the May 16, 2026 edition, except Jennie Ruth, who led the sound journey at an earlier Mindfulness Triathlon edition. No 2027 line-up has been published

Mindful Marketplace

The organiser describes a market unlike any other, experiential, elevated and bursting with joyful vibes and a passion for health, curated around products and services aligned with its mission: handmade goods, wellness products, nourishing food and beverages, eco-friendly items and healing services. Local press reported over 20 food, drink and artisan vendors for 2026 and, unlike past years, the market was free and open to the public in the hope of drawing people who might not be interested in the movement part of the festival
