Yoga & Soul Festival returns to The Vines Venue, Sauk City, WI, Sep 10 to 13, 2026. Froligo tracks ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.
What it stands for
The organizer describes the intention as 'to create a safe, inclusive atmosphere for all to practice, laugh, bathe in nature and return home to themselves', and frames the festival as a community project rather than a revenue line. Kingfisher Yoga states that no profit from the festival returns to the studio, that 2025 proceeds went to local food donations and to the pet rescues Fetch Wisconsin and Brown Paws, that small businesses are given a free place to sell, and that facilitators are paid once costs are covered. Studio owners from surrounding towns are invited free each year, and many teachers volunteer their time
Worth checking before you go. The plant based meal pre-order closed on August 31, 2026, before the September 10 start. Meals are not included in admission and the schedule's Thursday dinner and Friday and Saturday lunch and dinner are all marked as pre-order only, so anyone who did not order ahead should contact the organizer or plan to bring their own food. Smoothies are sold in the mornings and a small store carries snacks and pressed juices, but no full catering option is advertised on the day.
Checked 2026-09-03. Conditions change; recheck before you travel.Worth checking before you go. This is a primitive camping site with limited cell reception and no wifi, no shower block (the organizer suggests bringing a solar shower for personal use), and drinking water from a spigot rather than taps. Personal open fires are not allowed and there are two common fire areas. Plan for being out of contact and pack accordingly, particularly for a Wisconsin September night outdoors.

What's special
Yoga & Soul is a small camping festival on a family owned vineyard between two lakes, put on by a village studio rather than a touring production company. The venue has a stage, so live music closes Friday and Saturday nights, and the days run wide rather than deep: alongside vinyasa, yin, restorative, Hatha and somatics there is belly dance, hula hooping, ecstatic dance, a nervous system workshop, a make and take session on household toxins, contemplative writing, a foraged mandala and a daily sunrise mile through the vines. Camping is included with the full pass, quiet hours start at 9:30 pm, and the whole thing is sized so that most people meet most people
What people love
Organizer published testimonials on the official home page describe the energy as ecstatic, praise The Vines as a beautiful venue and its hosts, call the presenters knowledgeable and the sessions varied, and repeatedly mention feeling safe and building community quickly. These are testimonials selected by the organizer, not independent reviews

The practice
all levels. The organizer states the festival is 'open to all and suitable for yoga enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels', for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Two blocks carry explicit level language: Mobility & More is 'Suitable for all levels. Modifications & progressions will be offered', and Somatics: Embodied Letting Go is 'appropriate for all levels', with a beginner introduction and a deeper path for advanced yogis. The Vinyasa Flow block is billed as 'medium paced'. The days do include more demanding options, including Kali Flow with 'challenging twists & balance postures', Infinity Flow which is 'designed to challenge your strength, flexibility & focus', belly dance, hooping, ecstatic dance and a daily one mile hike, but gentler alternatives run alongside: sound bowl meditation, restorative, yin, contemplative writing and workshops
Slower, foundational postures held breath by breath. The classic starting point.
Flowing sequences that link breath to movement. Expect to move and sweat.
Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.
Fully supported poses with props, built for rest and recovery rather than effort.
Slow, exploratory movement focused on how it feels rather than how it looks.
Flowing sequences that link breath to movement. Expect to move and sweat.

Accessibility & comfort
What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.
Checked the home page, the Guidelines and FAQ page at /blank-2, the live music page at /blank-3, the schedule and itinerary page, the contact page, the pages sitemap and /accessibility (404). The festival site publishes no email address or phone number, only a contact form on the home page and on /contact. The organiser is Kingfisher Yoga of Lodi, whose own festival page and contact page publish [email protected] and 608-909-9173; that is the route to ask about access. The venue site thevinesvenue.com has no DNS A record and cannot be fetched, so the venue's own accessibility page, if any, is unreadable rather than absent
