Zion Yoga and Wellness Festival in Springdale, UT is not currently confirmed to be running. Froligo tracks its status, history and similar festivals still happening.
What happened to Zion Yoga and Wellness Festival?
The festival is on a gap year, not defunct. The last edition ran May 1 to 4, 2025 at Town Park in Springdale, Utah. No 2026 edition was ever announced and none was ever cancelled: within about three months of the 2025 festival the organisers had replaced the home page with a thank you for 2025, a live 2027 waitlist and the line 'next festival dates currently loading for Springdale, Utah', and they instead ran a six day Soul Path Retreat in Ubud, Bali on April 22 to 28, 2026, saying 'We heard you and we listened; more intimate, transformative experiences await.' That wording was still on the home page unchanged on 2026-09-06, more than a year after it first appeared. No 2027 date, venue confirmation, price or line-up has been published; the waitlist is the only forward signal, and it does commit to Springdale.
It ran from 2019 to 2025.
Reported by Zion Yoga Fest (Sep 6, 2026), Zion Yoga Fest / Soul Path Academy (Sep 6, 2026), Sched (Sep 3, 2026).

What it stands for
The founder says she created Zion Yoga Fest to build a community where everyone was welcome as they are, a community of like minded individuals that supported and uplifted one another. The festival describes itself as four days of bliss that foster connection and teach the tools to encourage healing in body, mind and soul, and frames the wider organisation as a place to foster soulful connection and embody clarity, purpose and action. The team is entirely volunteer. Proceeds from the 2025 edition supported Yoga Forward, a Utah non-profit that brings yoga to where it isn't
The experience
What's special
A four day festival in a town park at the mouth of Zion Canyon, with the practice tents pitched under the red cliffs. The 2025 edition ran 85 scheduled items across four days: Friday afternoon and evening immersions of two hours or more, then Saturday and Sunday built as four parallel tracks, so at any moment an attendee could be learning handstands on the main stage, holding Yin with kava under one canopy, sitting in an Ayurveda or sound healing session under another, or taking an eight limbs philosophy class. A children's Bala Pavilion ran its own themed classes on joy, fear, anger and the chakras alongside. Thursday belonged to the town: partner studios opened their regular classes free to pass holders, spas and outfitters offered festival rates, and the day ended with a graduation class from a local teacher training. The weekend opened with ecstatic dance and closed with a mala and mantra circle

The practice
all levels. The organiser's own Sched categories sort the programme by demand: Physical Practice / strong / sweaty, Gentle Practice / Restore, Meditation / Breathwork, Wellness / Sister Science, Educational, Specialty, Immersion, Kids and Special Event. That spread runs from handstands, arm balances, Acro Yoga and Tribal Buti at one end to Yin with kava, restorative practice, laughter yoga and journalling at the other
Flowing sequences that link breath to movement. Expect to move and sweat.
Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.
Fully supported poses with props, built for rest and recovery rather than effort.
Breathwork, chanting and repeated movements aimed at energy and focus more than a workout.
Poses adapted to a chair, accessible whatever your mobility.
Vinyasa at half speed, with more time in each pose.

Accessibility & comfort
What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.
The festival publishes no accessibility statement. There is no accessibility page on zionyogafest.com, and the FAQ page, which is still showing 2025 dates, says nothing about mobility, wheelchairs, companion or carer tickets, adaptive or chair based practice, or quiet spaces.
Read the full notes
The one access relevant thing the festival itself publishes is on its Accommodations and Travel page: the festival grounds are a quarter mile walk up from the main road, in a park surrounded by the cliffs of Zion. It adds that parking is available at the event and throughout the town of Springdale, some of it paid only, and that Springdale does not allow overnight street or event parking, so RV and van travellers must book a campground.
Nothing is published about the surface of the practice areas, about slope, about accessible parking or drop off, about accessible toilets or step free access to the class spaces, or about how far accessible parking sits from the practice areas.
The Sched programme shows the festival is multi venue, running across a Prana Pavilion and a Bala Pavilion at Town Park plus offsite sessions at local businesses and at Snow Canyon State Park, and it publishes no access information for any of those spaces.
On shuttles, two separate operators are involved and only one publishes an access statement. The National Park Service, writing about its own Zion Canyon Line, states that all shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible and that the lift has a combined weight limit of 600 lbs and cannot take chairs larger than 45 inches long or 25 inches wide.
That is the park shuttle inside Zion Canyon, not the Springdale town line that runs past the festival. Neither the National Park Service Springdale shuttle FAQ nor the Town of Springdale shuttle page says whether the Springdale Line buses are wheelchair accessible, so treat that as unknown and confirm before relying on it
A paid Kids Pavilion, also called the Bala Pavilion, ran alongside the adult programme with its own children's classes. The organiser is explicit that it is mindful childcare rather than a family area: the Pavilion is not open to the public or to adult festival attendees, each child must have a pass purchased ahead of time, and the caregiver must hold a purchased festival pass and stay on the festival grounds.

Hours were 8am to 4:20pm with a lunch break from 12:20 to 1:20, bookable Friday, Saturday or both. The stated age range differs between editions, given as 18 months to 10 years for 2024 and 18 months to 8 years for 2025
Checked the home page, the Accommodations and Travel page, the FAQ page, the contact page, the full sitemap and /accessibility (404), plus the Sched schedule for venue names. Also checked the Town of Springdale shuttle page and its facilities directory for Town Park at 126 Lion Boulevard, which lists amenities such as open green space, restrooms, parking, gazebo and pavilion but publishes no accessibility detail, and the National Park Service accessibility and Zion Canyon Shuttle System pages. The National Park Service publishes an audio described and a large print park brochure but no sign language interpretation for Zion. To ask about festival access, the organisers publish [email protected] (obfuscated on the page, decoded from the site's email protection markup) and a question form on the FAQ page. For shuttle questions the Town of Springdale directs enquiries to Zion Park Information on 435-772-3256 or [email protected]
Confirm your specific needs with the organiser's access team before you travel.

What it costs
INCOMPLETE. No 2027 price exists. For 2025 only the Full Festival early bird price survives; the 1 Day, 2 Day and Kids Pavilion prices for that year, and the monthly tier escalation amounts, could not be recovered because the Stride Events ticket pages render every price in JavaScript and the archived HTML holds none. A third-party directory summarised the 2025 range as $48 to $349; that is not organiser-sourced and is held only in price_history
Festival passes (1 Day pass and 2 Day pass) are sold through the official checkout, where the current prices are shown.

What to bring
A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:
Your own matRentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Teachers & presenters
Roster from the May 1 to 4, 2025 edition, recovered from the festival's own Sched instance. The organiser has published no 2027 faculty
Plus the rest of the 48+ teachers, practitioners and speakers across the weekend.
Vendor Village
The Vendor Village sat at the entrance to the festival grounds so that every attendee passed through it, and was free and open to the public without a festival pass. It also hosted a Wellness Tent running one hour immersive workshops, which the organiser describes as a hands-on experiential learning environment focused on connecting participants with wellness rather than promoting products
