Bio

Bob James is an American jazz keyboardist, arranger, and producer, born in 1939 in Marshall, Missouri, and regarded as a pioneer of smooth jazz. A multiple Grammy winner, he founded the contemporary jazz group Fourplay, and his recordings are among the most sampled in hip-hop history.
