Bio

Fabiola Méndez is a Puerto Rican cuatro player, singer and composer from Caguas who blends her island's folk traditions with jazz and Latin music. In 2018 she became the first student to graduate from Berklee College of Music with the Puerto Rican cuatro as her principal instrument, and she has since earned recognition including a Children's and Family Emmy nomination for her composing work.
