Jason Carter is an American bluegrass fiddler born in 1973 in Ashland, Kentucky, best known as the longtime fiddle player of the Del McCoury Band. A multiple Grammy and IBMA award winner and a founding member of the Travelin' McCourys, he later stepped out as a bandleader with solo releases such as Lowdown Hoedown.
