Bio
Marti Nikko is an American vocalist and yoga and Pilates teacher, the daughter of a jazz pianist, with a voice rooted in jazz and soul. Shortly after high school she met DJ Drez, beginning a creative partnership of over two decades that blends hip hop, kirtan, reggae, jazz and mantra. Her vocals feature across many of Drez's albums, including Dreaming in Sanskrit, Explorers of Infinity and Dreaming in Sanskrit: Verse Two. She teaches in the Bay Area and internationally
