Bio
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are an Australian rock band formed in 1983 by vocalist Nick Cave, multi-instrumentalist Mick Harvey and guitarist Blixa Bargeld, following the demise of the Birthday Party. Across albums beginning with From Her to Eternity (1984), the group has drawn on post-punk, blues and gothic rock through an evolving, multinational lineup. Longtime collaborator Warren Ellis is now central to the band's sound
