P.O.D. (short for Payable on Death) is an American rock band formed in San Diego, California, in 1992. Fronted by vocalist Sonny Sandoval, the band blends nu metal, rap rock, and alternative metal, and has sold over 12 million records worldwide while earning multiple Grammy nominations.
