Sudan Archives is the stage name of Brittney Denise Parks, an American violinist, singer, and songwriter originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and based in Los Angeles. Self-taught on the violin and drawing on West African fiddling, she blends experimental R&B and electronic music, releasing albums including Athena (2019) and Natural Brown Prom Queen (2022) on Stones Throw Records.
