Sugar Ray is an American rock band formed in Newport Beach, California, in 1986 and fronted by vocalist Mark McGrath. The band shifted toward a pop-rock sound and achieved mainstream success in 1997 with the single "Fly." Their 1999 album 14:59 produced further hits including "Every Morning" and "Someday."
