Bio

Tommy Emmanuel (born May 31, 1955, in Muswellbrook, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian guitarist known for his fingerstyle technique blending country, jazz and blues. A professional musician from childhood, he pursued a solo career from the early 1980s after performing with bands including Dragon. In 1999 he received the Certified Guitar Player title from Chet Atkins, and he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2010.
