Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival is an occasional all-star guitar event founded by Clapton in 1999 to benefit his Crossroads Centre Antigua addiction-treatment charity. Staged only every few years and in a different city each time, past hosts include Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles, it assembles dozens of the world's foremost guitarists across blues, rock, country and jazz for two nights of one-off collaborations. The 2026 edition, its seventh, is the festival's first in Austin, at the Moody Center

Moody Center's own trip page lists Routes 7, 10 and 20 as the routes serving the venue, so Route 20 is a one-seat ride from the airport to the arena area. Uber and Lyft both operate throughout Austin including AUS airport pickups (small airport surcharge applies). AUS to Moody Center is about 8 miles / 16-30 min in normal traffic. Important for the ride HOME: rideshare pickup at Moody Center is a designated zone at Lot 37 (the LBJ Library parking lot), one block north of the venue off Red River St and Clyde Littlefield Dr post-show waits can exceed 30 minutes; walking a few blocks away before requesting is the common workaround

This is an indoor arena event on 26 and 27 September, single venue and not shuttle based, so there is no outdoor terrain question; the venue has elevators available to ticket holders and guests with disabilities and states all main entry doors are accessible, with West Gate A near the UT Team Store designated as the accessible entrance and described as the closest point to the ADA drop off with a direct line to the ADA entrance.
Moody Center states it is committed to full compliance with the ADA. Wheelchair accessible and low mobility seating is offered on each level at comparable prices and sight lines, but a reserved ticket designated for ADA seating is required and the number and types of accessible tickets vary by event, so accessible seats must be bought through the ticketing site using the accessibility filter rather than arranged on the day.
Removable folding chairs are used in wheelchair accessible areas so the chair is taken out where a wheelchair or scooter is needed. Accessible parking is first come for guests with disabilities in each available garage, and garages can be pre purchased; Manor Garage is the closest, with a note that guests parking on levels 2 to 4 should take the elevator to level 2 and exit via the ramp.
There is a dedicated ADA drop off and pick up point on the northwest side of the venue on Robert Dedman Dr, reached by telling security at the checkpoint that the passenger is disabled or mobility impaired. Wheelchair escort transport from the entry doors to the seat can be requested, including by texting the code word Moody to 69050 on arrival at the Accessibility Drop Off, but arena wheelchairs cannot be left with guests during the event.
All restrooms are accessible and concession stands and marketplaces are accessible. Trained service animals are welcome and must rest in the guests seating area rather than the aisle. No companion or carer ticket policy is published by either the festival or the venue, and there is no camping.

Moody Center partners with KultureCity for sensory needs. A Sensory Pod on the Main Concourse near Portal 5 provides a safe and quiet space for guests. Sensory bags containing fidget tools, noise cancelling headphones, feeling thermometer cards and identification cards that let arena staff recognise a sensory need can be checked out free of charge by leaving an ID at any Guest Services Booth
American Sign Language interpreters are arranged by the venue, Moody Center, not the festival. Guests request an interpreter by contacting the Guest Services Department at [email protected], and the venue asks for at least fourteen business days notice before the event date, warning that requests with less notice do not guarantee an interpreter can be acquired.
Separately, assistive listening devices are complimentary for all arena events, with headsets and receivers checked out at the Guest Services booth on the Main Concourse
