A Vibe Called Yoga Festival returns to Gather COLA, Columbia, SC, Oct 17, 2026. Froligo tracks free-entry details, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The festival is built as a response to who it thinks wellness has been leaving out, and it says so in the first person: 'Wellness shouldn't feel exclusive, clinical, or disconnected from everyday culture. It should feel familiar, inviting, expressive, and alive. We're building the space where that version of wellness actually exists.' Its one line mission is 'Art, rhythm, and self care belong together.' The audience it addresses is anyone who has felt wellness was too quiet, too expensive or too removed from the culture they actually live in, and the values it lists for itself are familiar, accessible, alive, expressive, real, community, yours and culture first

The experience

What's special

A yoga festival that argues with the category it belongs to. Every session is set to live curated music and the organizers are explicit that the music leads rather than accompanies, which is where the format comes from: an existing series that ran yoga in art museums and unconventional venues with live DJs. The festival version adds workshops, a curated marketplace, visual art and installations across the venue and community spaces, and runs eight hours at Gather COLA, a food hall and brewery site in Columbia's BullStreet District with a dozen resident food traders already in place. One price, $75, all ages, doors at 10:30

The practice

Who it's for

all levels. The parent brand states the position for the series and the festival inherits it: 'We don't limit our events to experienced yogis; our yoga journey is designed to welcome all levels, inviting anyone with an open mind and a desire to experience something new.' The festival site itself gives no fitness guidance

Beyond the mat

  • DJ led yoga
  • wellness workshops
  • creative workshops
  • visual art and installations

Styles named as the festival itself describes them.

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessNo accessibility statement is published by the festival on either of its two sites or on the Eventbrite listing
Quiet & supportThe festival names 'Community Spaces' as one of its six strands and describes them as 'Room to gather, connect, recharge, and be seen', which is a social space rather than a quiet one
Shade & heatThe venue is part outdoor, with a primary outdoor festival space and a Turf Lawn named in the sponsorship tiers, and part indoor including an upstairs bar overlooking the BullStreet amphitheatre
AgesAll ages, per the Eventbrite listing's own highlight. Neither site sets a minimum age. The venue holds a craft cocktail bar and a brewery and taproom, so alcohol is served on site
ChildrenNo children's programming and no child pricing are published. There is one price for everyone
Effects

Read the festival site in full, the parent brand site in full, the Eventbrite listing in full, and the venue's homepage, location and vendors pages. None of them mentions accessibility, an accessible route, accessible parking, seating provision or ASL. The only adjacent facts published are that parking is paid and that the venue is part indoor and part outdoor

Confirm your specific needs with the organiser's access team before you travel.

Schedule

Everything recorded here is published on the live 2026 festival site and the live 2026 Eventbrite listing, both carrying the October 17, 2026 date and the same organizer. There is no prior festival edition to confuse it with. The parent brand site describes the earlier yoga series, and material quoted from it is attributed to the series rather than to the festival

What it costs

General admission$75.00The only ticket. Eventbrite reports minimum and maximum ticket price as identical, so there is no cheaper or dearer option. Whether Eventbrite fees are added on top was not established, because that requires progressing a purchase and the checkout could not be reached.

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Yoga Mat
Four rolled cotton yoga mats in pink, yellow, blue and blackYour own mat

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Shop options
Four reusable water bottles in a rowWater and electrolytes

Vigorous flows plus dry, high-altitude air dehydrate fast.

Stack of folded flannel shirts in blues and greensWarm layers

Studios and shade run cool between sessions even when the sun is hot.

Recovery and comfort. Eight hours is a long day and this one is not built around rest. Every yoga session is set to live curated music, the festival's own line is that the music does not accompany the movement but drives it, and the day is framed as running at energy from the first session to the last. Attendees are told to bring a mat. Practical unknowns worth planning around: there is no published timetable, so it is not possible to see in advance where the slower sessions fall, and there is no published quiet or rest area. Food and drink are covered by the venue's resident traders, and mid October in Columbia is warm

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.

Teachers & presenters

Six names, read from the Eventbrite lineup module on September 6, 2026. They are the same six the 2 September corpus carried, unchanged, which makes this the only roster in this batch that has not moved in four days. None has a link, a studio, a discipline or a session, and the festival's own site names nobody. Applications for yoga instructors and workshop facilitators were still open at capture, so the roster is very likely incomplete rather than final. No music act, DJ or artist is named anywhere, despite live DJ sound being the festival's central claim. Resolve identities and disciplines before any artist page is built

Local Vendors & Brands

A curated marketplace is one of the festival's six published strands, described as 'A curated marketplace of wellness brands, local makers, and culture-forward businesses' with 'Limited vendor spots available'. No festival vendor is named for 2026 and applications were still open at capture through a Microsoft Forms link. Separately, the venue has twelve resident food and drink traders of its own, recorded in venue_food_vendors; those trade at Gather COLA year round and are not billed as festival vendors
