Anaconda Yoga Fest's next dates haven't been announced yet. The last festival was 11 to 13 September 2026 in Anaconda, MT. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The organizer frames the weekend as three days to slow down, reconnect and experience Montana differently, and leans on the town itself: a walkable historic main street, outdoor classes under cottonwoods by the creek, locally roasted pour-over coffee and a market of Montana makers. Several sessions are deliberately free to the whole community, sponsored by a local nonprofit, including two pelvic floor workshops and a kids' class

The experience

What's special

A three day yoga festival that uses a whole Montana mining town as its venue. Four locations run 90 minute blocks at the same time, so the weekend is a choice between four things at once: a chakra exploration in Washoe Park while a belly massage workshop runs in The Cellar Room and a headstand class runs at The Montana. Only the park is outdoors, and rain moves those classes inside. The Saturday adds a free wellness market in the studio alleyway and a pop-up sauna and cold plunge, and the Sunday finishes twenty minutes away in Deer Lodge with a Hatha class practised beside grazing horses. A three day pass is $250, single days from $60, and a drop-in class is $25

What people love

The organizer publishes three attendee testimonials from the 2025 edition on its own festival page, attributed to first names, describing the weekend as one of the best events they had attended and praising the people and the town. These are organizer selected testimonials rather than an independent review sample

The practice

Who it's for

mixed, all levels represented. No festival wide scale. The organizer's own class notes carry the level guidance: Going Upside Down says no experience is needed, the Elements & Energy vayus practice is described as accessible to all levels, Elemental Reset needs no background in meditation or sound healing, Functional Yoga For Healthy Aging offers options for different bodies and abilities, and the pelvic floor workshop is open to all bodies and experience levels. Rocket Yoga, Buti Glow, The Ascent: Building Toward Handstand and Strength For Flexibility ask for more

Hatha

Slower, foundational postures held breath by breath. The classic starting point.

Vinyasa

Flowing sequences that link breath to movement. Expect to move and sweat.

Rocket

A faster, playful remix of Ashtanga. Strong, sweaty and inversion friendly.

Buti
somatic yoga

Slow, exploratory movement focused on how it feels rather than how it looks.

Yoga Nidra

Guided lying-down meditation on the edge of sleep. No movement at all.

functional yoga
Kundalini

Breathwork, chanting and repeated movements aimed at energy and focus more than a workout.

restorative

Fully supported poses with props, built for rest and recovery rather than effort.

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessNo accessibility statement is published for any of the four venues. Walking between downtown locations is part of the format, and Hatha and Horses in Deer Lodge requires a car
Shade & heatOnly Washoe Park is outdoors, beside a creek under cottonwoods. The organizer says outdoor classes move to an additional indoor space in rain
AgesNo age policy is published. A free Kids Yoga & Play session runs on the Saturday at Washoe Park
