What it stands for
The festival describes itself as creating space for movement, connection and discovery, with a relaxed rhythm, an inclusive atmosphere and a genuine community, designed for everyday humans of all levels: come as you are, come for the yoga, stay for the people
The experience
What's special
A relaxed summer solstice yoga festival in the small town of Choteau, at the edge of Montana's Rocky Mountain Front. Three days of classes run across five practice spaces within a few walkable blocks of the Choteau Pavilion, with no advance sign-ups, so attendees drift between kundalini, yin, somatic yoga, Buti, power flows, sound baths, a cacao ceremony and workshops from belly massage to a medicinal plant walk. The 2026 edition added a guided Rocky Mountain Front hike with a local women-owned outfitter, a wood-fired sauna by the Pavilion and a solstice-closing 108 Sun Salutations practice, and the whole town joins in, from the marketplace at the Pavilion to the American Legion's burgers

The practice
all levels. The festival describes itself as designed for everyday humans of all levels, with classes from gentle and restorative to active and expansive, and no advance sign-ups so attendees follow what feels right. The 2026 schedule sorted classes under the festival's own intensity labels: Slow Down, Dig In, Open Up and Build Heat
Breathwork, chanting and repeated movements aimed at energy and focus more than a workout.
Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.
Slow, exploratory movement focused on how it feels rather than how it looks.
