What's special
Anime Expo's 2027 edition runs July 2 to 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with additional programming at the adjacent JW Marriott and ticketed events at Peacock Theater, The NOVO and Crypto.com Arena. Badge categories for 2027 are an Attendee 4-Day pass, single-day passes for each day, a Child badge for ages 6 to 13 accompanied by an adult, and a free Child Wristband for ages 5 and under; every price is still listed as Coming Soon. The AX Masquerade carries one of the largest cash prizes among anime convention cosplay contests, and Artist Alley in Kentia Hall fills through a curated lottery after jury review. General Entrance runs from 9 AM to as late as 2 AM on the first three days and closes at 4 PM on the final day. A Quiet Lounge is listed among the amenities
