The experience

What's special

The Arizona State Fair runs Thursdays through Sundays across five weekends, October 1 through November 1, 2026, at the Arizona State Fairgrounds in Phoenix, an 88-acre property established in 1905 that traces the fair itself back to 1884 and is anchored by the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Gate admission is a single published price per age tier rather than separate advance and walk-up rates: twenty dollars for an adult, twelve dollars for a child aged five to twelve, fourteen dollars for a senior, and free entry for children four and under, with discounted twelve-dollar admission on-site for military and first responders. Gates open at noon every fair day, with last entry at nine in the evening on Thursdays and Sundays and ten in the evening on Fridays and Saturdays, while the carnival midway itself keeps running until the lights on the La Grande XL Wheel go dark for the night. Carnival rides, parking and reserved Coliseum concert seating are each a separate purchase from gate admission, priced from a dollar twenty five per ride ticket up to a sixty dollar presale unlimited wristband valid only on Thursdays and Sundays, and twenty dollars for standard parking in the North or West Lot

What people love

The organiser runs an annual Fair Food Face Off among its concessionaires, naming 2026 creations such as Strawberry Caramel Biscoff Funnel Cake, Deep Fried Hawaiian Rolls and a Mozzarella Stuffed Chorizo Sonoran Dog alongside Arizona-flavored originals like Prickly Pear Churros, and the Coliseum Concert Series, where every reserved seat already includes Fair admission, had already hosted Gin Blossoms, Becky G and All Time Low by this capture with The Offspring, Russell Dickerson and Public Enemy still to come

Last time around

No single-edition attendance total for a prior Arizona State Fair was found on the organiser's own pages; the fair describes itself only by its 141-year span (since 1884) rather than by a year-specific crowd figure
