The experience
What's special
The Georgia National Fair runs eleven consecutive days each October at the state-owned Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, a 628-acre complex purpose-built for the fair and completed in 1990. Gate admission for an adult is fifteen dollars by card or twenty dollars cash at the gate, with seniors paying ten dollars and children three to ten paying five dollars; children two and under enter free with a paying adult, and parking is always free. Ride tickets and single-day unlimited ride armbands, priced separately from gate admission, let visitors choose between a handful of rides or a full day on the midway, while concerts on the fair's own stage are free with the price of admission
