Named standout items include Chick N Que's Frozen Banana Pudding Taco and Ostrich Smashburger.

The experience

What's special

The Delaware State Fair returns to the fairgrounds in Harrington for ten consecutive days, July 22 through 31, 2027, a date already locked in on the organiser's own site alongside published dates through 2029. 2026 gate admission ran ten dollars for an adult and five for a youth aged six to twelve when bought online, with children five and under always free and a five-day adult pass available for thirty five dollars, saving nearly fifteen over five separate-day tickets. Gates opened at noon on the fair's first day and nine in the morning every day after, closing at eleven most nights and midnight on Saturdays. Carnival rides, run by Wade Shows, were a separate forty two dollar unlimited wristband good for any one day, explicitly sold apart from gate admission

What people love

The 2026 M&T Bank Grandstand lineup ran nine ticketed nights across the fair's full run, from Warren Zeiders and Bailey Zimmerman to 'Weird Al' Yankovic on his Bigger & Weirder tour and a closing-night double bill of Men at Work with Toad the Wet Sprocket, while the Fair Food page promises everything from deep-fried classics to a Frozen Banana Pudding Taco and an Ostrich Smashburger
