ACL Fest publishes a detailed accessibility article in its help centre covering parking, entrances, the Access Center, wristbands, companions, viewing areas, restrooms and ASL. No separate ADA ticket is needed. On terrain the festival warns it is wheelchair accessible but takes place across a large outdoor site with great distances between activities and attractions, outdoors and across city streets and pathways, that some travel is over natural terrain and terrain designed for motor vehicles, and that if it rains there could be mud.

Accessible parking needs a valid state issued placard or plate plus a festival parking pass for the designated lot, first come first served. There is an ADA pickup and drop off point reached from the northbound MoPac service road at a manned, secured entrance about half a mile along; once parked or dropped off an optional golf cart shuttle runs a loop, weather permitting, down a hill to a point closer to the festival entrance, from gates open until 9pm.
The general festival shuttle boards at Sand Beach Park in downtown Austin and drops outside the Barton Springs West entrance. Accessible entry lanes are marked with the International Symbol of Access. The Access Center is inside the Guest Services Tent near the Barton Springs entrance and issues free accessibility wristbands valid all weekend, with no medical documentation required and guests self identifying.
Each guest credentialed to the ASL Viewing Pit or the Accessible Viewing Platforms may receive one companion wristband, but the companion still needs a valid festival ticket and the wristband does not itself admit them. Accessible viewing areas are first come first served, can reach capacity, and seats cannot be reserved.
Accessible seating inside premium areas needs the matching premium ticket for both guest and companion. Accessible restrooms are throughout the grounds, with more near designated accessible viewing platforms, sometimes requiring a wristband.
Manual and power wheelchairs and three and four wheeled mobility scooters are permitted, and powered device charging is at the Access Center. The festival does not provide wheelchair rentals, scooter rentals, personal care attendants, push assistance, golf cart transportation or personal escort services.
No quiet or sensory space is listed; instead the festival warns the environment may include loud amplified music, dense crowds, flashing lights, strobe lighting effects, pyrotechnics, smoke or haze effects, extended sun exposure and inclement weather.

ACL Fest offers American Sign Language interpretation for select performances. Requests for specific performances go through an Effective Communication Request Form, with a stated deadline of September 2, 2026, and availability is not guaranteed for requests after that date.

A schedule of interpreted performances is posted closer to the event. Guests visit the Access Center to register for an ASL wristband, and the registration process itself requires the use of American Sign Language. The wristband gives access to designated ASL viewing areas during interpreted performances only, first come first served, with one companion per guest.
ASL services are generally not provided between scheduled interpreted performances, and the ASL viewing area is not open when none are scheduled. Guests may bring their own interpreter, but that interpreter must also hold a valid paid festival ticket.
For Deaf and hard of hearing guests who do not use ASL, Assisted Listening Devices can be requested at the Access Center on a first come first served basis with limited availability, and large print and Braille materials are offered when available
