BREATHE Fest's next dates haven't been announced yet. The last festival was 4 to 6 September 2026 in Horse Shoe, NC. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The festival states its purpose as 'Discover your Purpose. Awaken our World.' and describes itself as a community grounded in the belief that everyone has a higher purpose, bringing mind, body and spirit into alignment through shared learning, physical practice and genuine connection. It is designed as a self sufficient, community supported experience: no food vendors, shared meal prep, primitive camping and an explicit request that attendees arrive prepared to be extremely self reliant and to lean on their neighbours

The experience

What's special

A three day community built campout at Deerfields, a wooded lakeside property about twenty minutes south of Asheville, where the yoga sits inside a much wider movement programme. The 2026 schedule ran 119 items across sixteen named areas, from a sunrise qigong session on the Lower Lake Pier to highline competitions in the Gnarnia Slack Park and an aerial silks class in the Aerial Forest. Classes are proposed and taught by the community rather than booked from a touring roster, which is why one afternoon offers Yin yoga with a live acoustic sound bath, a sourdough baking workshop and a rope access careers talk in the same time block

The practice

Who it's for

mixed, self selected. No festival wide fitness scale is published. Individual class descriptions carry their own levels: several yoga and aerial classes say all levels or complete beginners welcome, while Ape Escape Acro Flow is described as intermediate and 4-Ball Juggling as for advanced three ball jugglers. Highlining, aerial and slackline sessions are physically demanding

vinyasa

Flowing sequences that link breath to movement. Expect to move and sweat.

Yin

Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.

restorative

Fully supported poses with props, built for rest and recovery rather than effort.

somatics

Slow, exploratory movement focused on how it feels rather than how it looks.

qigong
tai chi chuan
acroyoga

Partner work blending yoga and acrobatics. Expect to fly, base and spot.

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessNo accessibility statement, accessible camping or accessible route information was published on the pages captured. Trained service dogs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome and must remain under handler control. Terrain is primitive and uneven
Quiet & supportThe schedule names a Silent Knoll area used for plant walks and sacred fire creation. No dedicated quiet or sensory space is published
Shade & heatSessions run across open field, forest, lake and pier areas at Deerfields. Bringing sun protection and weather layers is sensible; no formal shade provision is published
AgesAll ages. Kids 12 and under receive free entry
ChildrenA Little Breathers Tent runs a dedicated children's programme, including Wee Breathe nature based kids' groups on Friday and Saturday, Family Yoga for children with a parent or guardian, and kids' editions of juggling, bubbles and craft sessions

Read the homepage, tickets, amenities and facilities, schedule, Flow it Forward, pet policy pages and the Eventbrite listing. No accessibility statement, accessible camping, accessible route or ASL provision is published anywhere. The only disability related content is the ADA service dog policy

Confirm your specific needs with the organiser's access team before you travel.

Recovery and comfort. The programme mixes low intensity practices (Yin, restorative Moon Yoga, sound baths, qigong, somatic work) with physically demanding ones (highlining, aerial silks, trapeze, acro, trail running). Classes are self selected, so pacing is up to the attendee. The site is primitive: no indoor plumbing, portable toilets and outdoor showers only, and self catering

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.
