Flow Fest returns to Charlotte, NC, Sep 19 to 20, 2026. Froligo tracks free-entry details, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The Center frames Flow Fest around its Find Balance Outside tagline: classes are designed for people who want to deepen their practice and connect in nature, welcoming yogis of all skill levels across a property built for outdoor recreation

The experience

What's special

A free two-day outdoor yoga and wellness festival at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the 1,300-acre property becomes an open-air studio for 175 scheduled practices and workshops led by about 120 teachers. Alongside dozens of styles of yoga there are SUP and goat yoga on the water, floating sound baths, breathwork, qigong, ecstatic dance, Ayurveda and craft workshops, with featured instructor Cristi Christensen, DJ Sol Rising joining select practices, and evening sets from Dangermuffin, Taylor Winchester and Kindred Valley. General admission is free with registration; a dozen premium Elevated Experiences cost $15 to $65

Last time around

The 2025 edition ran as a one-day festival on Saturday, September 20, 2025 with 100+ classes across the Whitewater Center campus

Stack of folded flannel shirts in blues and greensWarm layers

Studios and shade run cool between sessions even when the sun is hot.

Shop options
Recovery and comfort. Classes are mostly one hour with 45 to 120 minute exceptions, and the weekend rewards pacing: bring your own mat (none are provided), water bottle (outside food and drink are not allowed, but a bottle is; fountains and vendors are on site), sunscreen and footwear for long walks between far-flung class areas. The schedule has built-in recovery options, including Recovery Flow, Myofascial Release for Sore Bodies, restorative and yin classes, and free massage and bodywork drop-ins at the Wellness Yurt

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.
