One daily round trip between New York City and Burlington via Albany (~7h35m NYC-Burlington). The northern terminus, Burlington Union Station, is at the west end of Main Street on the Lake Champlain waterfront, effectively inside the festival footprint, steps from Waterfront Park and a ~5 min walk uphill to Church Street and the Flynn. This is a fly-free way to arrive in the middle of the festival rather than an airport connection

Book / info →GMT's Route 11 runs between Burlington International Airport and the Downtown Transit Center (St. Paul St just south of Pearl St), which sits inside the festival footprint, a 2-4 min walk to Church Street Marketplace and ~8 min to the Flynn or Waterfront Park. Runs daily, roughly 20-30 min end to end. Pay on board with exact cash, a contactless credit/debit card, Apple/Google Pay, or the Ride Ready by GMT app; daily fare capping applies at $4. Note: BTV's own ground-transportation page still describes the old 'CCTA Purple Line #12' branding, the current GMT airport route is Route 11

BTV maintains a licensed taxi queue at the main terminal (Vehicle for Hire program; rates $1.00/min, $11.00 minimum, plus a $4.00 airport surcharge from the queue). Uber and Lyft both operate at BTV and citywide; Lyft trips starting at BTV and ending in the City of Burlington carry a $2.25 surcharge. Downtown is only ~4 miles / 10-15 min from the terminal. No advance booking URL, hail in-app or at the queue on arrival
Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

The festival sells prepaid, guaranteed evening parking ($15/vehicle in 2026, from 5:00 pm each festival day) on the top level of the city-owned Marketplace Parking Garage, entrances at 147 Cherry St and Bank St, with an attendant and security on site; purchased through the Flynn's own ticketing system alongside event tickets, and weekend (Fri-Sun) reservations closed Thursday 4 pm in 2026. Prepay is optional, downtown Burlington's normal city garages and street parking also work, but parking near the Waterfront is limited and the festival recommends carpooling and points drivers to the City of Burlington downtown parking guide.
