Casper Karma Yoga Fest in Casper, WY is not currently confirmed to be running. Froligo tracks its status, history and similar festivals still happening.

What it stands for

The festival states its purpose as planting the seeds of positive karma in the community, rooted in the spirit of seva, or selfless service. It stays donation based on principle: the organizers say yoga, meditation, movement and healing practices can transform lives but cost is often a barrier, so keeping the festival donation based lets people from all backgrounds and financial situations take part. All proceeds support the Seva Project, which provides free yoga and wellness offerings to the community, and each year's profits go to a different local beneficiary. The invitation is plain: come as you are, bring your mat, your friends and your open heart

The experience

What's special

A one day, donation based yoga festival in a Casper city park, built around the idea of seva, or selfless service. It brings together local teachers, healers, artists, vendors and community members for a full day of yoga, wellness, music and connection, from energising vinyasa flows and grounding yin classes to sound baths, meditation, kids yoga and workshops. A 5k fun run circles the park's pond in the morning, a Kids Market gives young entrepreneurs a stall of their own, and food trucks and live music run alongside. Every year's profits go to a different local service or charity

Last time around

The fourth annual edition ran all day on Saturday August 8, 2026 in Washington Park with yoga classes, vendors, food trucks, live music, a Kids Market and the A Pathway to Peace 5k fun run. The beneficiary was the Mercer Family Resource Center's Youth Empowerment Council, a group of student leaders in grades 6 to 12

The practice

Who it's for

all levels, no experience needed. The organizer says there is "something for everyone, no matter your experience level", spanning energising vinyasa flows and grounding yin classes through sound baths, meditation, kids yoga and workshops. The 5k fun run is deliberately relaxed: the organizer says you can go for the gold or take your time and take in the morning air

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessThe organiser publishes nothing whatsoever about accessibility. The site is a single-page React application, so its entire published copy lives in one JavaScript bundle; that bundle was downloaded and every content string in it was read. The complete site text covers the festival's purpose, the Seva project, the donation model, the suggested donation of 5 to 20 dollars, the class types on offer, the vendors and Kids Market, and a 5k fun run around Washington Park. It contains no occurrence of accessibility, ADA, wheelchair, mobility, disabled, handicap, companion, carer, ASL, interpreter, sensory, quiet space, terrain, surface, restroom, toilet, parking, shuttle, chair yoga, adaptive or modification. There is no accessibility page, no FAQ, no plan-your-visit page and no venue or directions page. Nothing is known about parking, drop-off, distance to practice areas, toilets, step-free access to any activity, companion tickets, interpretation, quiet space, or whether any teacher offers modifications. The only site-related facts the organiser publishes are that the festival is set in Washington Park in Casper, that classes include vinyasa, yin, sound baths, meditation and kids yoga, and that a 5k route goes around the park. Note that the organiser also runs a 5k fun run over the park, which tells a reader nothing about the surface or gradient of the areas used for practice. A disabled attendee has no published basis on which to plan this event and would have to ask the organiser directly
Shade & heatWashington Park is one of Casper's oldest parks, with a pond and mature planting. The festival runs outdoors all day in August at roughly 5,200 feet, so sun cover, a hat and water matter
ChildrenExplicitly family friendly. The programme includes kids yoga, and the festival runs a Kids Market where young entrepreneurs sell their own creations

The official URL resolves over plain http with a 200 and no redirect to https, and is a live site for the 4th annual edition, so it is not dead. It is a client-rendered React single-page app that returns only a 1.9KB shell to any HTTP client, so the JavaScript bundle at /static/js/main.21163bf8.js was fetched and its string table read in full; that is the complete published copy of the site and it was scanned exhaustively for every access keyword with zero hits. sitemap.xml is not served. Contact route to ask: the organiser publishes NO email address and NO phone number anywhere on the site. The only published contact routes are the festival's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/casperkarmayogafest and its Instagram account at https://www.instagram.com/casperkarmayogafest/, so an access enquiry would have to go by direct message on one of those

What it costs

Suggested donation entry (all day)$5Donation based; the organizer suggests $5 to $20 and says give what you can, take what you need. Paid by Venmo in advance or in person on the day. All proceeds support the festival's Seva Project.

Add-ons

A Pathway to Peace 5k Fun Run, no t-shirt$10
A Pathway to Peace 5k Fun Run, with t-shirt$25

Entry is donation based rather than ticketed, so the $5 figure is the bottom of the organizer's own suggested $5 to $20 range, not a fixed admission price. Captured from the official site on September 3, 2026 after the August 8 edition ended

Recovery and comfort. A full day outdoors in a high plains city park: Casper sits at about 5,200 feet, August afternoons are hot and dry, and the wind can pick up. Bring your own mat, plenty of water and shade cover, and something to sit on between classes. The programme itself is gentle on the body by design, mixing energising vinyasa with grounding yin, sound baths and meditation, so it is easy to pace a whole day here. Food trucks and vendors are on site, and cash is worth having for the market stalls

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.
