Early Music Seattle's Spring Festival closes the three festivals of its 2026 to 2027 Beyond Baroque season. The 2027 edition, Mediterranean Currents, runs March 11 to 14 and weaves together stories from Lebanon, Italy and Persia. Maaha Ensemble opens at Town Hall on March 11 with a Celebration of Nowruz, setting Persian poetry for setar, oud, clarinet, percussion and vocalist Bahar Movahed. On March 13 tenor Haitham Haidar brings Zaytoun, his JUNO-nominated meeting of Baroque and Arabic song, to the Good Shepherd Chapel, and on March 14 La Fonte Musica traces the first international flowering of European music in the early 15th century at First Baptist Church.
How it works
The festival is three concerts in three Seattle venues, each sold separately or together with the $150 Spring Festival Pass, which also covers festival events and invitations to artist meet-and-greets. Single tickets run $48 to $80 by venue and tier, with students paying $15 to $20, and wheelchair spaces with companion seats are sold for every concert. Sunday's 4 PM concert at First Baptist Church on Capitol Hill has free street parking that day, and the church's own lot is free until 2 PM.
