Nantucket Wellness Festival returns to Nantucket, MA, Jun 25 to 27, 2027. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.
What it stands for
The festival's stated mission is to empower participants to create a personal blueprint for a happier, healthier life, through a wide variety of classes and practices and a diverse offering of discussions and workshops. It describes itself as a summer celebration bringing together local and global thought leaders, movement instructors and healthy living guides, with the intention of fostering consciousness, compassion and longevity and inviting attendees to explore what is possible. It runs under the nonprofit Happy Place Events, which provides free seasonal programming for the Nantucket community, and the festival's own framing is a hope to spark a ripple effect, one person, one weekend, one small shift at a time. Its three named pillars are Mindfulness, Meaningful Connection and Movement
The experience
What's special
A three day island festival that runs inside a 180 year old theatre complex rather than on a field, using its three rooms as three parallel tracks: movement in the Studio Theater, mindfulness and meditation in the Harborview Room, and hour long talks on the Main Theater stage. The 2026 weekend put a Stanford trained neuroscientist on social connection, a physician on perimenopause and menopause, and a 75 minute sound bath in the same room as yoga for low back health, then closed by moving the whole thing outdoors to Children's Beach for a free Sunday morning open to anyone on the island. Getting there is part of it: Nantucket is 30 miles out to sea with no bridge, so everyone arrives by ferry or small plane
What people love
The festival publishes three testimonials from its 2025 edition. One describes all the participants glowing and everyone energised and motivated to make positive changes. Another praises the range of speakers and singles out the venue and the food options. A third calls the event life changing. These are organiser selected quotes rather than independent reviews
Last time around
The 2026 edition ran June 26 to 28. Friday opened with a sound experience from Jesse Cale and a Main Theater panel of Ben Rein, Ian Lopatin and Dr. Shieva Ghofrany moderated by Michael Schulder, followed by food and drink in the Harborview Room. Saturday ran 8am to 5pm across all three Dreamland spaces with fourteen sessions spanning Tai Chi and Qigong, yoga, Yin, somatic movement, meditation, a sound bath and five main stage talks. Sunday moved to Children's Beach for a free community morning with a movement session and a silent disco sound journey, plus a vendor market at 10 Easy Street

The practice
Who it's for. No formal fitness scale or per class level is published. The 2026 programme combined seated hour long talks in the Main Theater with movement classes in the Studio Theater and Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation in the Harborview Room, so the physical demand varies widely by choice of session rather than being set by the festival
Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.
