The New York Faerie Festival brings the whimsical world of faeries, fantasy, and folklore to life across a wooded site near Ouaquaga, in the hills between the Finger Lakes and the Catskills, over the last weekend of June. Music flows from five stages while strolling faeries, dryads, mermaids, greenmen, satyrs, goblins, and dragons fill the lanes, and a juried exhibition gathers 50-plus handmade North American artists and craftspeople selling wings, flower crowns, chainmaille, and garb. It is a camping festival at heart - a 72-hour Camping Pass unlocks special evening events - and it is deeply costume-forward, nature-loving, family-friendly, and pet-welcoming.

Rideshare and taxis operate at BGM, but this is a small metro and the destination is deep rural woods where cell signal drops out, line up a confirmed return ride before you leave town rather than expecting to hail one at the gate
