The North Dakota Renaissance Faire is the 'original' Fargo-area Renaissance faire, produced by King Caesar Productions across two June weekends at the North Dakota Horse Park. The draw is a horse-centered, jousting-heavy program: the armored Dark Knights joust and fight, and the after-hours Cirque Ma'Ceo equestrian circus is billed as the highlight, alongside an Artisan Marketplace, medieval games, turkey legs, ale and mead, and a cast of strolling characters. It is family-friendly, runs 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. rain or shine, and offers free parking. Note that Fargo has hosted two separate Renaissance events; this is the original, held at the Horse Park rather than the Red River Valley fairgrounds
