Pirates of the High Seas & Renaissance Fest is a free, family-friendly Columbus Day-weekend festival at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, Florida, produced by the destination's tourism bureau. It celebrates the legend of the pirates who once roamed the Gulf of Mexico - including Dominique Youx - with pirate crews, parades (a Kid's Parade and the Krewe of Dominique Youx main parade), fireworks, live mermaid shows, a fire circus, a treasure drop, and an evening Cirque Adventure, layered with a Renaissance marketplace featuring sword and whip demonstrations, jousting, and a pirates pub.

The 2025 free festival ran October 10-12, 2025 at Pier Park, continuing all weekend with pirate storytelling, lively performances, parades, mermaid shows and fireworks.

Do I need a costume?
