Pirates of the High Seas & Renaissance Fest is a free, family-friendly Columbus Day-weekend festival at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, Florida, produced by the destination's tourism bureau. It celebrates the legend of the pirates who once roamed the Gulf of Mexico, including Dominique Youx, with pirate crews, parades (a Kid's Parade and the Krewe of Dominique Youx main parade), fireworks, live mermaid shows, a fire circus, a treasure drop, and an evening Cirque Adventure, layered with a Renaissance marketplace featuring sword and whip demonstrations, jousting, and a pirates pub
