What happened to San Francisco LovEvolution?
LovEvolution (formerly the Love Parade) ran as a free electronic-music technoparade in San Francisco from 2004 to 2009, drawing over 100,000 people to its 2009 edition. Officials revoked the event's permit over safety concerns, and after logistical problems finding an alternative venue, organizers canceled the 2010 San Francisco edition, stating the year's edition had been canceled due to venue complications. The event moved to Oakland as a paid event in 2011 before organizers announced no major event would take place going forward.
