Sangha Yoga Fest returns to Tico Time River Resort, Aztec, NM, Jun 10 to 13, 2027. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

Sangha is the Sanskrit word for community or bringing together, which the festival states as its mission: 'to come together in joyful celebration, sacred ceremony and nourish our body, mind and spirit.' It celebrates health and wellness, conscious community and personal development, and names recovery among its pillars: proceeds and donations support Pura Vida for Good, a 501(c)(3) partner that funds festival scholarships, the peer-led Animas Recovery House sober living home, and recovery bridge programming. In support of ahimsa, non-harming, the festival runs alcohol-free, promises vegan food vendors and strives for zero waste

The experience

What's special

A four-day festival of music, yoga, meditation, dance, wellness and recovery on the Animas River at Tico Time River Resort, a Costa Rican themed, 82-acre riverside campground between Aztec, New Mexico and Durango, Colorado. Days run from sunrise meditation and Prana Vinyasa through breathwork, qigong, acro yoga and stand-up paddleboard yoga on the pond, into main-stage kirtan concerts, ecstatic dance and campfire song circles at night. Walk-in tent camping in the wooded Magical Forest is included with a festival pass, and the resort's beaches, water slides, paddle boards, disc golf and hiking trails are all part of the ticket. The whole event is alcohol-free and family friendly, with daily kids yoga and youth passes

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Shop options
Four reusable water bottles in a rowWater and electrolytes

Shop options
Stack of folded flannel shirts in blues and greensWarm layers

Studios and shade run cool between sessions even when the sun is hot.

Shop options
Recovery and comfort. This is a swim-and-stretch festival: bring a swimsuit alongside the mat, since ponds, beaches, water slides, paddle boards, kayaks and inner tubes are included first-come first-serve, and you can rinse off in the river (no soap or products in the Animas, and keep swimsuits on). June averages run from 56F nights to 92F days, so pack sun protection, electrolytes and layers; potable drinking water is provided, and attendees are asked to bring their own bottles and storage containers. Showers and well-serviced bathrooms are spread around the campground, and the walk-in camping gear shuttle spares your back on arrival. The event is alcohol-free, and the 2027 program pillars include recovery

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.
