Scots Day at Fort Ticonderoga is a single-day Scottish heritage event held each June inside the historic 18th-century fort on the shores of Lake Champlain in Ticonderoga, New York, set for June 13 in 2026. Distinct from an athletic Highland games, it blends living history with cultural celebration: Scottish clan tents, a tartan tent with more than 500 tartans, Highland dance, pipe bands, and musket demonstrations that recreate the equipment and tactics of the red-coated Scottish soldiers who served at Ticonderoga during the campaigns of the 18th century

Live performances include Vermont Highland Dance, the Leatherstocking District Pipe Band and the Fifes and Drums of Fort Ticonderoga, with solo pipers and the sounds of bagpipes throughout the day

Scottish clan tents and vendors help visitors discover their own Scottish connection, and a tartan tent showcases more than 500 tartans
