The Stone Mountain Highland Games & Scottish Festival brings Scotland to Georgia each October, with Friday events at the Atlanta host hotel and the main weekend transforming the meadows and tree-lined paths of Stone Mountain Park. Billed as one of the premier Scottish festivals in the US, it features colorful pipe bands, Scottish heavy athletics, piping and drumming and Highland dance competitions, fiddling, Celtic performers on three stages, and more than a hundred clans along Clan Row

Clans & genealogy
More than 100 clan associations and Scottish societies take part in the annual Gathering of the Clans along Clan Row, and the 2026 Guest of Honor is William St. John Somerville McAlester, Chief of Clan MacAlister
