Getting there
How do I get to Torrance Hispanic Heritage Festival?
By bus 1
The FlyAway coach runs nonstop LAX to Union Station (Downtown LA); it does not serve Torrance directly, so it only makes sense if you are also visiting Downtown LA, otherwise rideshare or the Metro rail+bus chain is more direct to the South Bay
Book / info →Public transit 1
From LAX, the free Metro shuttle connects all terminals to the LAX/Metro Transit Center for the C Line / K Line. Reaching Columbia Park by transit then requires a bus transfer (Torrance Transit or Metro local lines serve the 190th St / Hawthorne Blvd area), workable but slower than driving. last-mile bus leg is the venue-specific addition
Book / info →Taxi & rideshare 1
LAX is ~10 mi north of Columbia Park. All rideshare and taxi pickups at LAX are consolidated at the LAX-it lot near Terminal 1 (free shuttle from green-column stops on the lower/arrivals level, or a ~5-min walk from T1). From LAX-it it is a straightforward drive south to the Torrance venue. Long Beach (LGB, ~12 mi east) is a smaller nearer alternative airport with standard curbside rideshare
Book / info →By train
No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Use the airport transfers or shuttle options above.
🅿 Parking
Cost Free (public park lots / street).
🚙 Car hire
Compare car hire
The South Bay is car-oriented and transit from LAX to Torrance is slow; a hire car from LAX or LGB is the practical choice for fly-in attendees, and useful for combining with wider LA-area travel

Book direct →Airbnb & private camping
The South Bay (Torrance, Redondo Beach, Gardena) has a moderate short-term-rental supply at typical LA-metro pricing. A single-day free festival is unlikely to move rates on its own, so expect normal LA seasonal pricing rather than a festival surge
Search Airbnb →No meaningful Hipcamp private-land camping supply exists in the dense urban South Bay; the nearest listings are well inland/north in the Santa Monica Mountains and Angeles National Forest foothills, not a practical alternative to a Torrance hotel
