Transcend Fest CT returns to Powder Ridge Mountain, Middlefield, CT, Sep 18 to 20, 2026. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The festival says it was created to be a space where individuals can transcend their limitations, tap into their true potential and find inner peace and balance, welcoming seasoned yogis and people just starting a spiritual journey alike. Its facilitators page describes offerings that are embodied, expansive and deeply transformational, spanning vinyasa and somatic flow, meditation journeys, breathwork, tantra, embodiment, aerial offerings, sound healing, astrology and self development. Metaphysical and magical framing runs through parts of the programme and is reported here as the festival's own vocabulary

The experience

What's special

Three days on a Connecticut ski mountain with 99 scheduled sessions spread across seven named spaces, from a Pavilion main stage to a Zen Den for restorative work and a Pond space used for movement and paddle side sessions. The programme is unusually broad for a yoga festival: 43 sessions are typed Yoga and Movement, but 22 are lectures on subjects such as nervous system regulation, sleep neuroscience, Ayurveda and herbs for hormonal health, and the rest are ceremonies, sound healing, breathwork, cacao and one outdoor nature immersion. Evenings carry their own programme, with a Friday kick off of ceremony, a DJ set and a glow in the dark dance party, and a Saturday that ends with kirtan and an ecstatic dance journey

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessNeither the festival nor the venue publishes any accessibility information. There is no accessibility, ADA or accessible page anywhere on transcendfest.com, and the Connecticut festival guide and FAQ pages never use the words accessibility, ADA, wheelchair, step free, companion, carer, ASL or sensory. Powder Ridge Mountain Park publishes no accessibility page either. So on the direct question of access provision, nothing is published and a disabled attendee has to ask. What the organiser does publish, as ordinary logistics rather than access commitments, matters enough to set out. The festival is spread across seven separate workshop locations on the grounds of Powder Ridge, which is a working ski area, and attendees are told to familiarise themselves with the map before arriving; distances and gradients between those seven locations are therefore a real planning problem and no step free route between them is described anywhere. Camping is an add-on and the organiser is explicit that it is in the parking lot and rustic style on gravel, so it is not a level pitched or hardstanding surface, and separately that there are no showers, though indoor bathroom facilities and overnight security are provided. Nothing published says whether any bathroom is an accessible one. The event runs both indoors and outdoors and the organiser states shelter will be provided for outdoor workshops in bad weather, which implies outdoor practice on open ground, but the surface of the practice areas themselves, whether grass, gravel, decking or slope, is never described. Service dogs are welcome. Powder Ridge separately states it runs no shuttle service from train or bus stations, so there is no published accessible transport link to the site. Nothing is published on accessible parking, drop off point or distance from parking to the practice areas, accessible toilets or showers, accessible camping, companion or carer tickets, ASL or other interpretation, quiet or low sensory space, chair yoga or adaptive sessions, or whether teachers offer modifications. Read none of the above as an access guarantee; it is background a disabled reader can use when phoning to ask
AgesAnyone 17 and under without an adult will be turned away at the gate, and children who attend must remain under their guardian's supervision for the duration of the event
ChildrenChildren are allowed with a supervising adult. No child ticket tier was listed on the checkout

Pulled the full transcendfest.com page sitemap and confirmed no accessibility page exists among the sixty odd published pages, then read the Connecticut venue page, the older /faqs/ page, the current /festival-guide/ FAQ, the Connecticut tickets page, contact and about in full. Did the same for powderridgepark.com through its sitemap index, and read the park FAQ, hours and directions, park info, first timers guide, contact and the venue's own Transcend Fest event listing. To ask the organiser: [email protected] or +1 203-823-6378. To ask the venue directly: Powder Ridge Mountain Park and Resort, 99 Powder Hill Road, Middlefield CT 06455, on (866) 860-0208. Given the festival is spread over seven locations on a ski hill and runs 18 to 20 September 2026, phoning ahead is the only way to establish gradients and step free routing

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Four rolled cotton yoga mats in pink, yellow, blue and blackYour own mat

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Recovery and comfort. A three day mountain festival with sessions running from 8:30am to 7:30pm on the Saturday, so most people practise several times a day and sleep either in a tent on site or in a hotel twenty to thirty minutes away. The programme itself builds in recovery: scheduled BREAK slots between every session block, a lunch hour, and a Zen Den strand of restorative and sound based sessions (Sacred Stillness, Deep Rest, Release, and Rewiring, Rest and Restore, Reset Your Vibe) alongside the strenuous Yoga and Movement classes. There are no showers in the camping area, which the festival states explicitly, so campers should plan for that. Sessions run indoors and outdoors on a ski mountain in late September, and the festival says proper shelter is provided for workshop classes in the case of inclement weather
