Yoga Bliss Festival comes to Augusta, MO, Expected July. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The festival's tagline is Cultivating Health & Wellness, and the organiser sets out what she means by it: cultivation as an act of preparing land to grow crops, or of improving a skill or a relationship through education and focused effort, fostering growth through knowledge and inner actions with others. Two-hour sessions are chosen deliberately, described as giving attendees the chance to cultivate their curiosity and thirst for more knowledge in collaboration with the festival leaders. The invitation is framed around company rather than solitude: we all have our own journey, yet we do not have to walk alone, bring yourself, your family, your loved ones. Several sessions use spiritual and energetic vocabulary, including Akashic Records readings, chakra work, embodied astrology and cacao as a heart-opening plant ally; these are the festival's own descriptions of its offerings

The experience

What's special

A four-day, build-your-own-schedule festival in the village of Augusta, Missouri, in the Missouri River wine country west of St Louis. Everything is sold by the session rather than by the ticket: attendees buy a package, then sign up individually for each two-hour session they want, and the seven catered meals count as sessions too. The 2026 edition ran 41 unique sessions from 22 leaders across four village buildings, with the Harmonie Verein Cultural Center as the main hall. The programme is unusually therapeutic for a yoga festival, built around John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, restorative and Yin practice, sound journeys and breathwork, alongside Vinyasa and Sattva Yoga, an Akashic Records workshop, a cacao ceremony, a somatic dance ceremony, integrative medicine lectures from a physician, and a kirtan concert and Kirtronica ecstatic dance set from Jaya Lakshmi. Every meal is vegan and gluten free

The practice

Who it's for

all levels. The festival describes itself as an exploration of yoga, health and wellness with a multitude of experiences to choose from, and most 2026 sessions carried an explicit welcome: suitable for all levels of experience, accessible to all levels, appropriate for all, all are welcome, no experience necessary. Sessions are two hours each, and the programme leans towards restorative, therapeutic and myofascial work rather than vigorous asana, with Sunrise Flow Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Sattva Yoga Journey providing the more active options

MFR Yoga (Myofascial Release)
Hatha Yoga

Slower, foundational postures held breath by breath. The classic starting point.

Yin Yoga

Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.

Yang Yoga
Myo Yin/Yang Yoga

Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.

Vinyasa Flow

Flowing sequences that link breath to movement. Expect to move and sweat.

Vin-Yin Yoga

Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.

Sattva Yoga
Japa Yoga
Restorative Yoga

Fully supported poses with props, built for rest and recovery rather than effort.

Yoga Nidra

Guided lying-down meditation on the edge of sleep. No movement at all.

Partner Yoga
Pelvic Floor Myofascial Release (MFR) Yoga
Meridian Fascial Flow Yoga
Sunrise Flow Yoga
Moon Salutation (Chandra Namaskar)

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessNo accessibility statement was published. The organiser's phone line (Kathy Kessler on 314-369-6804) and Halcyon Spa on 636-228-4110 are given for assistance with selections, and would be the route for access questions
Shade & heatSessions are held indoors across four Augusta buildings, so the late-July Missouri heat is largely avoided; the outdoor elements are the silent Katy Trail walk inside Communing with Nature and the walk or short drive between venues
ChildrenA separate Kids Yoga product priced at $5 sits in the Halcyon Spa Mindbody store under a Kids Yoga, Yoga Festival category; no children's sessions appear on the published 2026 schedule

Prices captured verbatim from the live Halcyon Spa Mindbody store (site ID 408799) on September 3, 2026, cross-checked against the festival's own Packages and Sessions pages. There is no early-bird or sale tier: the festival states prices for the 2026 festival are the same as last year. Everything is priced per session, with meals counting as sessions, and the ladder runs from a Single Session at $35 through 24 sessions at $660; the Total Access Pass at $555 for 18 sessions plus 7 meals is the value option. All of these were still listed for sale after the 2026 edition finished

Recovery and comfort. Sessions run two hours each and a full day can stack four of them, so pacing matters more here than intensity. The programme is unusually recovery-led: myofascial release with therapy balls, self-lymphatic massage, restorative yoga with props, Yoga Nidra, several sound journeys and a Vin-Yin practice built for nervous system downshift. Bring a mat, at least two blankets, one or two bolsters or pillows, an eye mask and a water bottle (the props list published for the Intrinsic Breathwork session), plus comfortable clothing and shorts and a t-shirt for the hands-on Myofascial Release workshops. Meals are gluten free and vegan with a ninety minute window at lunch and seventy five minutes at dinner, and the schedule explicitly asks attendees to leave time to eat and digest before an active session

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.
