Bio

The Harlem All-Stars is the band led by tenor saxophonist Bill Saxton, a native New Yorker born in 1946 who studied at the New England Conservatory of Music and performed with figures including Roy Haynes, Jackie McLean and Clark Terry. The group plays straight-ahead jazz and performs regularly at Bill's Place, the Harlem jazz club Saxton opened in 2006 on West 133rd Street.
