The David Lee Jones Quartet is a jazz group led by American alto saxophonist and flautist David Lee Jones, who was born and raised in Houston, Texas and studied at Texas Southern University and the Berklee College of Music. After moving to New York City he worked with organists Jack McDuff and Jimmy McGriff, toured with the Mingus Band, and served as horn arranger for the group Digable Planets.
