Ursa Major is a jazz quintet led by Christian McBride, the multi-Grammy-winning American bassist, composer, and bandleader who also serves as artistic director of the Newport Jazz Festival. The group pairs McBride with a younger generation of players including saxophonist Nicole Glover and drummer Savannah Harris.
