Aloha Kauai Yoga & Peace Festival returns to Kapaʻa, HI, Oct 3, 2026. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The festival calls itself a peace offering from Kauai to the world rather than just a yoga festival: a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) whose stated mission is to raise global vibrations with peace, love and light. It is rooted, in its own words, in peace teachings and the Vedic science of consciousness, and it describes its synchronized meditations as creating a coherent field of peace that ripples outward. It runs as a substance-free, smoke-free, zero-waste event and asks attendees to protect the island's natural resources

The experience

What's special

A one-day yoga and peace gathering held each October on the oceanfront lawn of the Kauai Shores Hotel in Kapaʻa, Kauai, overlooking Wailua Bay between the Wailua River and ancient Hawaiian heiau. The 9th annual edition runs 8 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2026, blending all-levels yoga, guided breath meditation, sound healing with crystal bowls and acoustic instruments, live music and mantra, healing arts, massage and Hawaiian wellness practices, plus a marketplace of local wellness, food and craft vendors. The day doubles as the festival's Worldwide Peace Meditation Summit, and one festival pass covers every class, workshop, meditation and concert. Kids under 12 are free with a paid adult, and the festival provides yoga mats on the grass

What people love

Testimonials curated on the festival's own site praise the purpose-driven intention, the yoga and meditation classes, fresh food, uplifting speakers and music, the twice-daily peace prayer circles and the closing ecstatic dance

Last time around

The 8th annual edition ran Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Kauai Shores Hotel oceanfront lawn; the site's 2025 vendor page and team profiles document that edition

Recovery and comfort. The full day runs 8 AM to 5 PM outdoors on the hotel's grass lawn beside the ocean. The festival provides yoga mats and free water stations, and its own packing list adds a block, strap, cushions or blanket, beach towel and swimsuit, so a cool-down swim in the bay between sessions is part of the setting. By car
Rental car or drive from Lihue Airport (LIH)about 15 to 25 minutes from LIH outside rush hour

Lihue Airport is about 8 miles south of the Kapaa venue via Kuhio Highway (Route 56), normally a 15 to 25 minute drive, though the Lihue to Kapaa corridor is the island's main traffic chokepoint at rush hours. Most visitors rent a car at the airport. Festival parking at the hotel is reserved for hotel guests and extremely limited: the organizer encourages carpooling, rideshare, biking or walking, with additional parking at nearby public areas; VIP Gold ticket holders get VIP parking

By bus & public transit
The Kauai Bus (county public transit)

Kauai County's public bus runs mainline routes between Lihue and Hanalei (routes 400 and 500) plus Lihue to Wailua mainlines (800 and 850) along Kuhio Highway through the Coconut Coast, with local Kapaa shuttle service. Stops sit along the highway near the Coconut Marketplace by the venue. Check thekauaibus.com for current fares, schedules and the closest stop; service is designed around residents, so a rental car or rideshare remains the flexible option for a festival day

Taxi & rideshare
Uber / Lyft / island taxis from LIHabout 15 to 25 minutes from LIH

Rideshare operates on Kauai and the organizer explicitly suggests it for the festival given the parking limits. Coverage is thinner than a mainland city, especially for the return leg in the late afternoon; agree or schedule your pickup in advance

Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.
