Camp Yoga Florida returns to River Ranch, FL, Apr 30 to May 2, 2027. Froligo tracks ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The organizer frames the weekend around play rather than practice, and says so directly: 'This is about PLAY. Moving our bodies, trying new things, laughing too hard, staying up too late, making new friends, and remembering how good it feels to simply enjoy ourselves.' It positions itself against the retreat category on purpose, 'Think less wellness retreat. Think more summer camp, a little county fair, a mini yoga retreat, a little girls trip, a little boys weekend', and it makes a point of welcoming people with no yoga background at all and people arriving alone. Nothing is compulsory: 'Join every activity or sneak away for a nap, a cocktail, or a float down the lazy river.'

The experience

What's special

A weekend that puts yoga inside a rodeo rather than the other way round. Camp Yoga takes over Westgate River Ranch, 1,700 acres of inland Florida ranch with a private rodeo arena, a water park and a lazy river, and sells the whole thing as one accommodation inclusive package: two nights in a glamping tent or a lodge room, all the classes, meals, a welcome dinner, hosted cocktails, rodeo admission and full resort access. There is no day ticket and no way to buy entry on its own. Alongside yoga, meditation and movement sessions run mechanical bull riding, archery, mini golf, a petting farm, a fishing pond and dance parties. It is adults only, capped at fifty, and the organizer is unusually blunt that comfort is the point: air conditioning, a real bed and a good cocktail rather than pitching your own tent

The practice

Who it's for

Who it's for. No fitness guidance is published, but the organizer sets expectations about experience rather than fitness: 'Do I need to be a yogi? Nope. Show up exactly as you are. Whether you practice every day or have never taken a class, you'll fit right in.' Participation is optional throughout

Beyond the mat

  • movement sessions
  • workshops

Programme

There is no published programme for this edition. Everything in sessions comes from the Florida page's own Activities list, which carries no days, times or leaders. The series level Sample Schedule at campyoga.ca/camp-yoga-sample-schedule is deliberately excluded from sessions: it is labelled generic by the organizer, and its content, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, a climbing wall and high ropes, does not match what the Florida venue offers. Treating it as the Florida timetable would put activities on the page that do not exist at this venue

9 sessions across the weekend. Open any strand.

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessNo accessibility statement is published by the organizer on any of its pages or on the booking page
Shade & heatNothing is published about shade. The venue is 1,700 acres of open Florida ranch land with a water park and an outdoor rodeo arena
Ages

Adults only, but the published minimum age contradicts itself. The organizer's FAQ says 'You must be at least 19 years old to attend Camp Yoga. We have adult attendees of all ages.' The organizer's privacy policy says 'Camp Yoga retreats and services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older.' Both are live on the same domain and neither is corrected here

ChildrenNo children. This is an adults only weekend and no family programming exists

Read the Florida location page, the locations index, the series FAQ, the sample schedule page, the privacy policy and the WeTravel booking page including its full FAQ. None mentions accessibility, accessible accommodation, an accessible route or any disability provision. The only adjacent facts published are that all accommodation is in tents or lodge rooms and that the site is 1,700 acres of ranch

Confirm your specific needs with the organiser's access team before you travel.

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Four rolled cotton yoga mats in pink, yellow, blue and blackYour own mat

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Four reusable water bottles in a rowWater and electrolytes

Vigorous flows plus dry, high-altitude air dehydrate fast.

Studios and shade run cool between sessions even when the sun is hot.

Recovery and comfort. Nothing about this weekend is paced like a yoga retreat and the organizer is direct about it: 'Think less wellness retreat. Think more summer camp, a little county fair, a mini yoga retreat, a little girls trip, a little boys weekend.' Yoga, meditation and movement sessions sit alongside a rodeo, a water park, mechanical bull riding, archery, dance parties and two open bar happy hours, and the organizer's own framing of the days involves staying up too late. Opting out is explicitly fine: 'Not at all. Join every activity or sneak away for a nap, a cocktail, or a float down the lazy river. This is your weekend.' Beds are real beds in tents or lodge rooms rather than a camping mat, and every package includes a wet bar or a fire pit and patio. Late April to early May in inland Polk County is hot and humid, and the organizer's own pack list puts sunscreen and bug spray on it
