It's Just Yoga Health & Fitness Festival comes to Lake Eola Park, Orlando, FL, Next edition to be announced. Froligo tracks free-entry details, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The festival's own message is 'Yoga for Everyone, Yoga for You'. It describes itself as Local, Local, Local: a community event built around local businesses and local yoga studios that benefits a local charity, New Hope for Kids, a nonprofit supporting children and families facing grief and illness. Classes are donation based rather than ticketed, and the organizer is explicit that attendees who choose not to take a class are still welcome to enjoy the marketplace and the rest of the day. It says the festival is for yogis of all experience levels, ages, shapes and sizes, and asks people to pace themselves and rest whenever they want to

The experience

What's special

A free, non-ticketed day of yoga in a downtown Orlando park that has run every year since 2015. Ten scheduled classes cross two outdoor areas from ten in the morning until four, ranging from a balance-themed flow and a meditation with tapping through kids yoga, a Yogalates core class and a soft-rock soundtracked flow, to a closing sound bath and a DJ-led class set to R&B. Around it runs a marketplace of about 45 exhibitors, from local studios and clean skincare to sound healing and crystals, plus a vegan food truck pop up. Nobody pays to get in: to join a class you sign a liability waiver, collect a wristband at the Information Tent and give what you want to give, and the money goes to New Hope for Kids

The practice

Who it's for

all experience levels, ages, shapes and sizes. The organizer's stated message is 'Yoga for Everyone, Yoga for You' and it welcomes newcomers explicitly: first-timers can learn something new and experienced practitioners can go further. Attendees are asked to listen to their body, pace themselves through the day, and sit back and watch or rest at any time, which the festival says is completely acceptable in any class. The 2026 schedule ranged from a deliberately accessible gentle class with no vinyasa or chaturanga and minimal transitions, through all-levels flows, to a core-focused Yogalates fusion

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessIt's Just Yoga publishes no accessibility information of any kind. The FAQ at ijyconnects.com/faqcentralflorida was read in full and covers tickets, waivers, what to bring, charity, food, children and weather, but says nothing about accessible parking, drop off, accessible toilets, step free routes, companion or carer admission, or wheelchair space at classes. The full ijyconnects.com page sitemap (around a hundred pages) contains no accessibility, ADA, directions or parking page. The organiser does publish two things a disabled reader can use, both about how classes are run rather than about the site: the FAQ says "Please listen to your body, pace yourself throughout the day, and feel free to sit back and watch and rest at any time. This is completely acceptable in any class." and "A limited number of yoga mats will be available for use if you do not own one.", and the class schedule page describes at least one session as deliberately low impact, with "no vinyasa or chaturanga and minimal transitions from all fours to standing to keep the class accessible". That is an experience level and low impact framing, not an adaptive or chair yoga programme, and no chair yoga or seated class is listed. On surfaces, the organiser publishes nothing: it does not say whether classes are on grass, on the Walt Disney Amphitheater stage or on paving, and the only hint is the FAQ suggestion to bring slip-on shoes and a mat. Do not assume grass or amphitheatre from that. The venue detail comes from the City of Orlando, not from the festival: the City's Lake Eola Park page lists Disabled Accessible, Restroom Facilities, On Street Parking and Walking Path (Paved) among the park's amenities, and describes the park as having "a sidewalk that circles the lake 0.9 miles in length". The City therefore publishes that the park is disabled accessible with a paved circuit path and restrooms, but the City does not say where accessible parking is, how far it is from any given part of the park, or whether the restrooms are accessible ones; note also that the City lists the park address as 512 East Washington Street while the festival gives the Robinson and Eola Drive corner, so the practice area could be some distance from any given entrance
Shade & heatClasses run in outdoor areas at Lake Eola Park, with the City of Orlando sponsoring the Main Class Tent. The organizer suggests sunscreen
AgesAll ages. Children under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian, and parents are responsible for their children at all times
ChildrenThe organizer describes the festival as family friendly, with a dedicated children's class and children also welcome to join other classes with a signed waiver

Read the whole festival FAQ and the class schedule page, and swept the complete ijyconnects.com page sitemap for any accessibility, ADA, directions, parking, venue or info page; none exists. The festival landing page and the FAQ are Wix pages that need a browser or a raw HTML pass to read. The City of Orlando park page is JavaScript rendered and had to be read in a browser for the amenity list, though the descriptive text does appear in a plain fetch. To ask: [email protected], the contact address published on the It's Just Yoga Central Florida pages. The City of Orlando lists 407.246.4484 for Lake Eola Park

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Four rolled cotton yoga mats in pink, yellow, blue and blackYour own mat

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Shop options
Four reusable water bottles in a rowWater and electrolytes

Vigorous flows plus dry, high-altitude air dehydrate fast.

Studios and shade run cool between sessions even when the sun is hot.

Shop options
Recovery and comfort. This is a single outdoor day in central Florida rather than a camping weekend, so the practical concerns are sun, heat and the ground. Classes are on grass in a downtown park, so a mat with grip plus a towel is the sensible pairing, and the organizer suggests slip-on shoes for moving between the two class areas and the marketplace. A refillable water bottle and sunscreen are on the organizer's own bring list. The schedule is deliberately mixed, so a hard Yogalates core class at 1:45pm is followed by a gentle heart-opening practice and a closing sound bath, which makes it easy to end the day rested rather than wrung out. The organizer's guidance is plain: listen to your body, pace yourself through the day, and sit back and watch or rest at any point, which it says is completely acceptable in any class
