NEPA Yoga Festival comes to Scranton, PA, Expected June. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

For 2026 the festival said it goes deeper than the poses: 'devoted to the spirituality of yoga, not just the poses, but the philosophy, the lineage, the devotion, the practice beneath the practice', with a stated intention of presence over performance and a group intention of Abundance Through Connection. The FAQ carries a land acknowledgement honoring the Lenni Lenape, Susquehannock and Delaware Peoples, and asks attendees to follow a No MOOP, pack-in pack-out leave-no-trace ethic

The experience

What's special

A summer weekend yoga festival that takes over Montage Mountain's waterpark near Scranton, with more than a hundred hour-long sessions spread across seven outdoor class areas, from a wave pool deck to a mountaintop meditation area. Alongside vinyasa, Ashtanga, yin and yoga nidra classes run kirtan camps, sound baths, Thai massage, reiki, acro yoga, an indoor Holistic Expo of vendors and talks, and a kids area by the lazy river. Festival tickets include full waterpark access, and tent camping on the bunny slope comes with weekend passes. The 2026 edition's theme was The Spirituality of Yoga, weaving yoga philosophy lectures, the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras into the schedule

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessNo accessibility statement was published. The site is a ski mountain base area and waterpark: the included camping sits on the sloped bunny hill, while class and vendor areas use the base facilities. Attendees with mobility needs should ask the organizer about base-area camping placement and step free routes, via nepayogafest.com
Quiet & supportA dedicated Meditation Area runs sessions throughout both days
Shade & heatThe tent camping area on the bunny slope is mostly wide open; the camping FAQ suggests bringing an EZ Up style canopy if shade matters, and notes early arrivals may snag spots near shade trees
AgesFamily friendly; a dedicated Kids Area by the lazy river ran kids yoga, mandala coloring and scavenger hunts in 2026, and festival tickets include waterpark access
ChildrenKids yoga classes for ages 3-11 ran several times daily in 2026

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Yoga Mat
Yoga Mat Carrying Bag Or Strap
Towel (Under Your Mat On Grass Sites)
Four rolled cotton yoga mats in pink, yellow, blue and blackYour own mat

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Shop options
Four reusable water bottles in a rowWater and electrolytes

Vigorous flows plus dry, high-altitude air dehydrate fast.

Shop options
Stack of folded flannel shirts in blues and greensWarm layers

Studios and shade run cool between sessions even when the sun is hot.

Shop options
Recovery and comfort. Montage is first and foremost a ski resort: expect steady uphill and downhill walking and staircases all weekend, so the organizers call comfortable sneakers a must. Classes run on grass, decks and pool areas; bring a towel to put under your mat on grass sites. Nights on the mountain get cool, so pack an extra blanket and warm layers, and the camping FAQ recommends earplugs, a headlamp and a wagon for hauling gear. Free showers in the waterpark locker room are included with camping, and festival tickets include the waterpark pools, rides and slides for a soak between sessions

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.
