Maine Yoga Fest in South Portland, ME is not currently confirmed to be running. Froligo tracks its status, history and similar festivals still happening.
What it stands for
The festival describes itself as Maine's premiere yoga festival, gathering local and New England teachers to practise together and celebrate what yoga does physically, mentally and spiritually. Its stated vision is that arriving should feel like coming home, supported and encouraged, and that leaving should mean a real connection to a like minded community that carries on all year through studios, resources and trainings. Giving back is central: the 2026 site pledged $10 from every ticket sold across three named Maine nonprofits, $5 to Maine Needs, $3 to the Healing Tribe and $2 to the Nurturing Tomorrow Foundation, and the 2025 edition partnered with Maine Needs. The festival also says it encourages green living practices, promoting recycling and showcasing the natural setting of Maine
The experience
What's special
A weekend of self selected yoga workshops on a coastal community college campus in South Portland, with the sea a few minutes away. The 2025 programme spanned arm balances, barre, Ashtanga, Katonah Yoga, yin, restorative and paddleboard yoga on Casco Bay, alongside breathwork journeys with live violin, Vedic chanting, kirtan, ecstatic dance, Qi Gong, Yamuna Body Rolling and a 4 hour accredited teacher training, plus a vendor and healing village included in every ticket. Attendees bought a pass covering a set number of workshops, weekend or single, and built their own schedule. The 2026 edition was cancelled in April 2026 and the festival is currently offered for sale, so there is nothing to book at present

The practice
all levels. The festival describes itself as offering a wide variety of yoga workshops across multiple styles, taught by local and New England teachers, and encourages attendees to try a new yoga style. Individual 2025 sessions ranged from arm balances and barre to gentle yoga with Reiki, chair friendly restorative work and Qi Gong billed as accessible regardless of age, fitness level or experience. Attendees chose their own sessions after buying a pass

What it costs
Add-ons
All priced lines are from the July 25 to 27, 2025 edition, the most recent held, captured verbatim from the festival's own Eventbrite listing as archived 17 June 2025. No 2026 price is recoverable: the tickets page linked an Eventzilla listing called Maine YogaFest + Wellness Expo 2026 that has been removed and was never archived, and the Eventzilla organiser page lists no events. For 2026 the festival advertised pre-sale pricing until 28 February 2026 with the checkout code MYF20 for 20 percent off, and an affiliate programme offering supporters a 15 percent discount code plus one free weekend ticket for every 10 sold, but it never published a rate card. The 2026 tickets page said the ticket included all main yoga classes, all main lectures, community discussions, main workshops and entry to the Wellness & Vendor Expo, while Friday evening continuing education, the Saturday evening featured event, healing arts at the inn and paddle board yoga each needed a separate ticket, and that tickets were non-refundable. The 2025 Squarespace store separately sold a $50.00 volunteer pass, a $250.00 vendor deposit and a $150.00 non-profit vendor deposit, and festival tees and tanks were sold as a $26.99 all in Eventbrite add on

Teachers & presenters
Roster from the July 25 to 27, 2025 edition, the most recent held, taken from the festival's own lineup page as archived 17 June 2025 with the CEU training confirmed from the Eventbrite listing. The 2026 edition was cancelled before any lineup was published, and no 2027 roster exists. Two presenters who appeared on the January 2025 version of the page, Darren Marc Levene (Bhakti Yoga and Heart Songs Kirtan) and Kristin Leung (EMBODY EMOTION and SWIFT FLOW), were no longer listed by June 2025 and are therefore not carried here
Plus the rest of the 43+ teachers, practitioners and speakers across the weekend.
Wellness Expo and Vendor Village
The 2025 edition ran what it called a vendor and healing village, included in every ticket type, with a $250.00 vendor deposit and a $150.00 non-profit vendor deposit sold through the festival store. For 2026 the festival rebranded this as a Wellness Expo, saying it was new and improved, that the vendor village had been expanded, and that vendors would be brought into a wellness expo experience in the centre of the festival, with healing art sessions at the on campus inn next door on a separate ticket. The Meet Our Vendors block on that page still read Coming Soon at capture, so no 2026 stallholders were ever named. Vendor applications ran through a Google form
