River Valley Yoga Festival comes to Lowell Park, Stillwater, MN, Sep 9 to 12, 2027. Froligo tracks ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.
What it stands for
The stated mission is to bring people together to experience the peace, power and healing that yoga has to offer, and to show yoga as everything from a physical practice to a spiritual one. The founder's line on the mission page is that she wants everyone to feel welcome and like a valuable part of the community, and the festival repeats that it is a place for everybody and every body
Worth checking before you go. The 2026 edition is listed for 11 to 13 September at Lowell Park on the organiser's own Eventbrite listing, which shows "Sales for this event have ended. Please be sure to follow us on social media to see next year's dates." Every page of the festival's own website, however, now leads with "Save the Date SEPTEMBER 9-12, 2027", the schedule page is headed "2027 Schedule" and the travel page reads "Getting Here: Details coming soon." with no venue address and no room block. No cancellation or postponement notice was found on any organiser surface. Anyone travelling for the 11 to 13 September dates should contact the organiser directly before booking.

What's special
A three-day yoga weekend in Stillwater, the small St Croix river town billed as the birthplace of Minnesota, built around movement, meditation, sound healing and community rather than a single headline act. The festival describes itself as one of the largest yoga festivals in the Upper Midwest, gathering 40+ teachers and 60+ offerings, and the 2026 listing moves it from the private farm it used through 2025 to Lowell Park on the riverfront, a few steps from the town's historic main street

The practice
all levels. The festival states it is a place for all, students who are curious or new to yoga as well as those who have practised for many years, and describes itself as a place for everybody and every body
Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.

Programme
Programme from the September 2025 edition. The 2026 programme was never published on the festival site, whose schedule and presenters pages had rolled over to 2027 by the capture date. Session density and length are specified by the festival on its Be a Presenter page rather than in a published grid: "We are seeking a variety of presenters to host anything from a 20-minute mini-session to a 2-hour experience" and "Number of Classes: Our goal is to have up to five class offerings per hour throughout the Festival. Teachers are invited to present more than once each day, but may not duplicate sessions." The same page states "RVYF happens rain or shine. Classes and workshops may be held indoors or outdoors."
47 sessions across the weekend. Open any strand.

Accessibility & comfort
What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.
The festival itself publishes nothing on accessibility. Its full page sitemap has 26 pages and contains no accessibility page, no FAQ page covering access and no know before you go page; the Travel Details page carries only camping and hotel suggestions and its Getting Here section currently reads that details are coming soon.

The organiser's own Eventbrite listing for the 2026 edition names the venue as Lowell Park, 201 Water Street North, Stillwater MN 55082 but carries no accessibility section at all. So there is no published statement on accessible parking at the festival, accessible toilets, step free access to practice areas, companion or carer tickets, chair yoga or adaptive sessions, teacher modifications, quiet space or interpretation.
What is known about the venue comes from Discover Stillwater, the area tourism board, not from the festival: it describes the riverfront path along Lowell Park as wide, paved and minimally hilly, with grassy areas, shaded benches and accessible public bathrooms nearby in the pedestrian plaza, and it says ADA parking spaces are available in downtown public lots and near key attractions including Lowell Park.
Treat that as a description of the park on an ordinary day. It does not describe the festival build, where practice areas sit, whether they are on the paved plaza or the grass, or how far accessible parking is from the mat.
A disabled attendee should assume nothing and ask the organiser directly. Note also that the 2026 Eventbrite listing shows ticket sales have ended and the festival website now advertises September 9 to 12, 2027 without naming a venue, so the 2027 site may not be Lowell Park
Confirm your specific needs with the organiser's access team before you travel.

What it costs
INCOMPLETE. No 2026 ticket price could be sourced from the official Eventbrite listing (sales ended, tiers no longer displayed), from the festival's own tickets page, or from any 2026 archive snapshot of it. Re-checked 2026-09-06 at 5 days out: still no 2026 number. The Eventbrite listing renders no ticket panel and reads "Sales for this event have ended."; the site's own tickets page carries policy text only
Festival passes (1-Day Pass and 3-Day Pass) are sold through the official checkout, where the current prices are shown.

What to bring
A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:
Your own matRentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.
