Sioux River Yoga Festival comes to The Good Earth Farm, Lennox, SD, Expected July. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The organiser frames the festival around three ideas it names on its own pages: Embodied Movement, honouring the innate connection inside each one of us, with teachers committed to the deep dive of introspection, growth and renewal; Rooted in Nature, on the grounds that there is no way to be truly committed to embodied practices while ignoring our forever home, mother nature; and Celebrating Community, because we heal in community. The festival calls itself a regional gathering that honours both our diversity and our shared humanity, and its first-year tagline was Three States, One Community

The experience

What's special

A small regional yoga gathering on a working farm and animal sanctuary in the tall grass prairie south of Sioux Falls, built around the watershed that gives it its name. Day one is a full day of classes and workshops led by teachers from across South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota, alongside a marketplace of 18 plus local makers and food grown nearby. Attendees can then stay overnight on the grounds and come back for a second morning of bonus classes and community service run with Friends of the Big Sioux River, the watershed non-profit the festival partners with. The inaugural edition drew 70 people

The practice

Who it's for

all experience levels. The organiser lists diverse yoga classes for all experience levels and says the festival offers a welcoming space whether you are an experienced practitioner or new to yoga. The 2024 class copy carried the same framing, with one teacher stating her movement practice can be done by anyone regardless of ability

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability access

The organiser publishes nothing on accessibility for this festival. The Joy Collective Yoga store listing for the 3rd Annual Sioux River Yoga Festival gives dates, price and a description promising practice in the natural beauty of Good Earth Farm, a natural outdoor setting and an optional overnight stay on the grounds, but says nothing about accessible parking, accessible toilets, step free practice areas, accessible camping, companion or carer tickets, chair yoga or adaptive sessions, quiet space or interpretation.

Read the full notes

The venue is a working farm and animal sanctuary, and the only published access detail anywhere comes from the farm's own website, not from the festival: on its Pizza at the Farm page The Good Earth Farm states that parking starts in the main driveway by the barn, that once that lot is full visitors follow a gravel path to an east parking area behind the barn, and that parking close to the barn is reserved for people with limited mobility.

That is the farm's arrangement for its regular pizza nights, so it shows the farm thinks about mobility parking and confirms gravel on the overflow route, but it is not a festival statement and must not be read as the festival's parking plan.

The farm otherwise describes a three storey barn, an expansive lawn, picnic tables, a deck, open space and trails winding through the property, which points to grass and uneven ground, and a partner organisation, Friends of the Big Sioux River, described the 2025 edition as set at an animal sanctuary surrounded by tall grass prairie.

None of that is an access commitment. Separately, the Joy Collective studio says on its home page that its teachers offer clear, precise instruction with modifications for all bodies and abilities; that is the studio describing its weekly classes at 319 N Main Avenue in Sioux Falls, not a statement about the festival programme on the farm.

Shade & heat

An open farm setting. Friends of the Big Sioux River describes The Good Earth Farm as an animal sanctuary surrounded by tall grass prairie, and the organiser calls it a nature reset nurtured by incredible views and sweet animal friends.

No shade, water or restroom detail is published by the organiser

What it costs

3rd Annual Sioux River Yoga Festival pass, July 18-19$200.002026 edition, organiser store. Covers day one; the listing says sign up for the second day would become available in spring 2026.

INCOMPLETE for the next edition: no price has been published beyond the July 2026 pass, whose listing is still live and unretired after the event. The 2025 figures ($150 pass, $30 donation-based Sunday session) come only from a third-party directory that disclaims organiser status and are not recorded here as organiser prices

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Four rolled cotton yoga mats in pink, yellow, blue and blackYour own mat

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Recovery and comfort. A full day of classes and workshops on farm ground followed by an optional night on site and a second morning of yoga. The 2024 programme mixed an all-levels asana workshop with a 90 minute dialogue and movement practice, a sound journey closing in yoga nidra, and a free-form somatic movement practice the teacher described as doable by anyone regardless of ability. That range means the weekend can be paced gently, but sleeping outdoors on a working farm and practising on uneven ground both argue for a mat that copes with grass, warm layers for a prairie night and steady hydration

festival marketplace

The organiser describes a festival marketplace with 18 plus local vendors offering handcrafted goods and wellness products, and invites attendees to visit with local creators and artists. Vendor registration is $108.00. No vendor is named on the pages captured
