Zen Awakening Festival returns to ZEN Meditation Fields, Fruitland Park, FL, Nov 12 to 15, 2026. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, camping, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The organizer describes an open community for seekers interested in spirituality, personal transformation, raising consciousness and service, and frames the weekend as a sacred environment built through art, music, dance, yoga, meditation and connection with nature. It sets out its own values as sacred, authentic, affordable, sustainable, open-source, decentralized, inclusive and non-proprietary, and publishes a detailed Leave No Trace ethic covering personal refuse, other people's refuse and low impact use of the land. Each year carries a theme; the published list runs from Co-create, Participate and Connect in 2014 to Moving Through Sacred Nothingness in 2025, with the 2026 theme still to be announced

The experience

What's special

A four day camping festival in Lake County, Florida that runs two music stages alongside a workshop programme of roughly thirty presenters, on grounds that carry a swimming pool, an indoor roller disco rink and a 20 foot waterslide. The land is laid out as fourteen named realms and camps, from a Healing Sanctuary and a Buddha Garden to a Conscious Kids Camp and a Sacred Fire and Drum Circle that is kept free of cigarettes, drugs and alcohol. Primitive camping is included in the four day ticket, and the site rules ask every attendee to gift an hour of their time over the weekend and to bring a sacred object or gift from nature for the community altars

What people love

Independent coverage is limited and dated. Creative Loafing Tampa Bay reviewed the 2018 edition, held at a different venue, and its verdict was split: it described the festival as always somewhat of a mess in practice while calling the curation and energy phenomenal, singling out the Middle Earth Stage sets and the visuals, and noting that the crowd came for the community rather than the production. The same review recorded a lack of medical staff, generator failures, no observed set times, and noise complaints that forced stages to turn down or shut down late at night. That account is eight years old and describes a different site

Teachers & presenters

Thirty one workshop presenter cards and twelve named music acts were published on the organizer's own 2026 workshops and 2026 music pages as read on September 6, 2026. The music page carries several further cards still reading Coming Soon, and the Galactic Guru Stage lineup was marked COMING SOON, so the bill was incomplete. Two artist blurbs carry stale text from earlier editions: Whitney Blake's says 'Performing on Friday November 14th at Zen Goddess Take Over', but November 14, 2026 is a Saturday, and SHEWXLF's says 'Goddess Takeover November15th 2025'. Both are recorded verbatim and not corrected. The organizer's Eventbrite listing names only two performers, JKALI and WHITNEY BLAKE, a much shorter bill than its own site. Presenter names are recorded in the organizer's own casing, which is inconsistent across the page

Mystic Market Place

A vendor realm named Mystic Market Place appears on the organizer's site map, and the Eventbrite overview names craft and food vendors and an expo. The organizer is recruiting volunteers, workshop presenters, performers and vendors through its Participate page. Site rules bar unauthorized vending and independent sound systems. A 2026 sponsors section on the homepage lists Gold, Silver and Bronze tiers but names no sponsor
